Cubic zirconia (CZ) is one of the most popular synthetic gemstones in the jewelry market. Our CZ is made from zirconium dioxide (ZrO₂) with added yttrium oxide. Originally developed by Soviet scientists in the mid-20th century for electronics, optics, and medical applications, CZ quickly gained recognition in jewelry for its brilliance, transparency, and dispersion. Today, CZ is widely used as a diamond simulant and is available in a wide range of colors, color-changing options, and opaque shades, with increased hardness up to 9 on the Mohs scale. At our facility, we produce CZ crystals using a crucibleless method, which allows precise control of the high-temperature melt without damaging the chamber. This method enables us to grow high-quality crystals with ultra-high melting points (above 3,000°C), producing durable, gem-quality cubic zirconia for jewelry manufacturers worldwide.
